Le Mans Grand Prix Go-Karts was established in 1990. With 15 years experience of operating race karts for the public Le Mans decided to upgrade to a bigger and better 3 track complex in 2006. Le Mans Go-Karts is now Victoria's largest go-kart complex. 50 go-karts can operate at one time over the 3 tracks.
Director's NoteOur new Schumacher go-karts are the world’s best hire karts and are running on both the Le Mans & Lakeside tracks. Both of these outdoor go kart tracks are far larger than our previous Keysborough track and have been especially designed with input from interstate and international racing experts to provide drivers with high speed straights, sweeping corners and tight bends where you will feel the g-forces and be able to overtake without having to drive others off the track or into barriers.
The Daytona track has been especially designed for riders younger than 10 years. Each ride will provide young children with the opportunity to experience go karting in a controlled setting. I do ask though that you ring before hand to check the availability of the Daytona track.
Our brand new double story 1,400sqm building with licensed bar, and commercial kitchen can cater for huge numbers and has a large sheltered outdoor viewing balcony that provides a spectacular view of the go kart tracks, lake and surrounding environment which means that even if you’re not racing there is plenty to do. The site itself stretches between the South Gippsland Freeway & South Gippsland Highway and is easily accessible from Melbourne right through to the Mornington Peninsula.
All 3 outdoor go kart tracks are fully flood lit which means that your racing can continue late into the night. This in itself provides a whole new experience. Traffic lights that overhang the starting grids on the tracks have been installed which will give a count down sequence to start group races – just like in the video games but this is real life.
I’ve built this new complex to provide a unique go karting experience for people of all ages. After years of planning and preparation the Le Mans dream is now a reality.
Hope to see you soon.
